What Highland Park is built from
One of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, laid out by the Elyton Land Company about two miles south of downtown, with 1890s to 1920s houses and early apartment buildings on hilly, wooded ground along Highland Avenue and the foothills of Red Mountain.

The other half is the vacuum itself — a beater bar run over the ends of an old rug chews the fringe, and the fringe is the foundation poking out, so what looks like a cosmetic fray is the rug beginning to unravel.
